Starlume Privacy Policy

Starlume is a constellation puzzle game created by Jakub Kaczynski. This policy explains what information may be collected when you use the app.

Information Starlume Stores Locally

Starlume stores gameplay progress, settings, audio preferences, hint usage, and purchase state on your device so the app can remember your progress and preferences. This information is not used to identify you by us.

Advertising

Starlume may show full-screen ads using Google AdMob unless you purchase the optional ad-free upgrade. Google and its partners may collect or receive device information, advertising identifiers, approximate location, app interaction data, diagnostics, and related information to provide, measure, and improve advertising.

Privacy-Friendly Analytics

Starlume uses TelemetryDeck to understand which levels and mechanics are working well and where the game can be improved. TelemetryDeck receives an anonymized, untraceable identifier for the app installation; gameplay actions defined by us; a timestamp rounded to the nearest hour; device and app metadata such as device type, operating system version, app version, and build number; and non-personal gameplay details such as level, attempt count, completion time, route length, hint use, and mastery result.

We do not send names, email addresses, account information, puzzle drawings, or support message contents to TelemetryDeck. TelemetryDeck does not store IP addresses and does not use this information for advertising. Learn more in TelemetryDeck's Privacy FAQ.

Purchases

Starlume offers an optional one-time in-app purchase to remove ads. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card information.

Support Emails

If you contact us for support, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, device details, screenshots, and description of the issue. We use this only to respond to your request and improve Starlume.

Children

Starlume is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through support contact, email us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Data may be processed by Apple for purchases, by Google AdMob for advertising, and by TelemetryDeck for privacy-friendly product analytics as described above.

Your Choices

• You can remove ads by purchasing the optional ad-free upgrade.
• You can limit ad tracking in your iOS privacy settings.
• You can delete Starlume to remove locally stored app data from your device.

Changes

We may update this policy when Starlume changes. The effective date above will show the latest update.
